Kenton has lived in Western Kansas all his life. Born and raised in Scott County on a farm and livestock operation. He attended Scott County Schools and then graduated from Garden City Community College. He is married and has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. He became interested in the futures markets during college and took some classes about it. He has studied and used the futures markets ever since. He started studying the options markets when they began trading and learned various ways to use them. He prefers using 70-80% technical information and 20-30% fundamental information in helping make trade recommendations. He likes helping both hedgers and speculators.
