	Meeting with individual producers to get an overall perspective of the operation. Assist with cash flow preparation. Recognize whether income is from inventory liquidation or profitability.
	Create a marketing plan with producers and update when needed. Set cash marketing plans based on storage availability, type of local markets, livestock utilization and other individual preferences.
	Have marketing plans, government programs, and crop insurance work together.
	Maintain communication throughout the year. Weekly newsletter by mail or fax Maintain personal contact and access by phone Keep communication two-way Utilize periodic meeting for market updates
	Set realistic expectations Sell in the upper 1/3 of the price range rather than getting into the game of predicting the high of the market on the exact day. This is the downfall of good marketing.
